Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority.

Day 01: Arrival

You will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport (arrival point) by our Representative who will help you with your luggage to the transfer car and take you to Lodge in Arusha, Lake Duluti Lodge or similar lodge; the lodge you will have a short briefing session with our safari Manger, then left to have dinner and relax.

Day 02: Arusha – Tarangire National Park.

The tour starts with a drive to Tarangire National Park, this day will be spend on the savannah plains in search of wild animals including zebras, elands, impalas, gazelles, and the rare species of Kudus. Large herds of elephants are also one of Tarangire highlights as well as the large baobab trees. Overnight will be at either Tarangire Safari Lodge or similar, with an amazing view over the Tarangire River that draws hundreds of animals.

Day 03: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After an early morning breakfast you will drive to Serengeti National park. Driving via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will enter the Serengeti via the Naabi Hill gate and go ahead with game viewing en route to the lodge or tented camp. If you are interested; you will have a brief stop at The Olduvai Gorge to witness the excavations of the Leakey’s family who discovered some human fossils of the Australopithecus Boisei, a discovery that led to the belief that indeed first man dwelt in Africa. Your overnight will be at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 04 - 05: Serengeti National Park

These days are spent at the Serengeti plains doing game drives. Here you have the choice to do the early morning game drives if you so wish. This will give you the chance to see nocturnal species retire from a night out as well as the diurnal majority waking up for a new day. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Day 06: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

After breakfast we drive back via the Naabi Hill gate to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. Descend down the Crater wall to the floor of the World’s greatest unbroken Caldera for a wonderful day of game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater is world renowned for the highest concentration of animals and it is here where you get the greatest chance of spotting the Big five in one day. A world biosphere reserve the Crater was declared a world heritage site by the United Nations body UNESCO. Among other animals you will see lions, cheetahs, zebras, warthogs, silverback jackals etc. Later in the afternoon before dark we drive to the Crater rim to check in at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 07: Back to Arusha

If you like being active it is time to go for a nature walk in the Ngorongoro Crater forests guided by an armed ranger, or go for a dance with Masai people at their village while you learn something about their culture and

traditions. Depending on your schedule you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.

Day 01: Arusha – Ngorongoro.

After early breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, after registration you will descend to the Crater Floor for full day of game drives at the floor and have packed lunch at the Hippo poolside picnic site. After lunch you will continue with game drives in the Crater floor in search of the Buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes etc. then later in the afternoon you ascend up the Crater Rim for overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. All meals included

Day 02: Ngorongoro - Serengeti.

After breakfast you will start your way to Serengeti, the most famous and the first national park to be gazetted in Tanzania; On your way you have the chance to visit Olduvai- Gorge where human fossils were discovered by the Leakey’s family suggesting that mankind started in Africa. Inside the Serengeti you expect to see lots of animals all year round but it is the Migration herds that amaze many a traveler. Resident animals include buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, baboons, zebras and so many bird species. Overnight will be either at Serengeti Serena Lodge or Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp or similar. All meals included.

Day 03: Serengeti National Park.

Full day game drives in the Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch taken at one of the designated sites, or if you wish you can do an early morning game drive then go back to the lodge/tented camp for breakfast then relax until in the afternoon. You can then go for a sunset game drives in the plains. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge or at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp or similar. All meals included.

Day 04: Serengeti – Arusha

Early morning game drives (if you wish) at Serengeti then you will embark on your long journey back to Arusha town but if you wish; or if your budget allows; you can catch a flight at 11.05 AM at Seronera Airstrip and fly to Arusha instead. (we can also arrange a flight for you out of Serengeti if you do not want to do the long drive back to Arusha)
