This dream itinerary is specifically designed to follow the great migration. With 4 nights in the Serengeti, you will be able to visit the central Serengeti but also spend some days witnessing the great migration, which could be in the south (Ndutu) from December to March, or in the remote Northern tip of the Serengeti from July to November.

Day to Day Itinerary

  • Activities: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring local Tanzanian cuisine.
  • Accommodation Options:
    • Luxury: Arusha Coffee Lodge, Gran Melia Arusha.
    • Mid-range: Ilboru Safari Lodge, Arusha Planet Lodge.
    • Budget: Outpost Lodge, Green Mountain Hotel.
  • Activities:
    • Morning: Visit a local market to explore fresh produce and spices.
    • Afternoon: Participate in a cooking class to learn how to prepare traditional Tanzanian dishes such as Ugali, Nyama Choma, and vegetable stews.
    • Evening: Enjoy the meal you prepared.
  • Accommodation: Same as Day 1.
  • Activities:
    • Morning: Depart for Tarangire National Park.
    • Afternoon: Game drive to see elephants, baobab trees, and various wildlife.
    • Evening: Sundowner drinks and dinner featuring local grilled meats and fresh salads.
